VCQ Summer School 2023 - Hybrid Quantum Systems

We would like to cordially invite you to the VCQ Summer School 2023. Vienna, with its long history in quantum science, will be the hosting city for this event from August 28 to September 01 2023. The goal is to bring together young and experienced quantum researchers to promote the sharing of knowledge and ideas within the community. For this purpose, we provide a platform for young researchers to learn new topics and give them the opportunity to present their research to an experienced audience.
This year's focus is on joint quantum systems, highlighting novel concepts and applications that emerged in recent years. Presented by distinguished physicists, the lecture series will cover cold atoms & thermalization, optomechanics, and trapped ions & quantum computation. Finally, the program includes networking and social events where researchers in all stages of their careers can meet and exchange their ideas.

Sid Parameswaran (University of Oxford), Silvia Pappalardi (University of Cologne), Mauro Paternostro (Queen's University Belfast), Philipp Treutlein (University of Basel), Martin Ringbauer (University of Innsbruck) and Claire Edmunds (University of Innsbruck).
We would like to encourage PhD and master students to present their research in quantum science in the form of posters.
