Following from the success of ONNA2013, 2015 & 2017, the ONNA2019 workshop will be held at OIST Graduate University (http://www.oist.jp) from 3-6 June 2019. The aim of the workshop is to bring together experts and early stage researchers from diverse communities who use optical micro and nanofibres for their research needs, whether it be for quantum, sensing, or other applications. The number of participants is strictly limited and will be based on application.
All selected participants will get support for accommodation in twin share rooms, meals and local transport. All participants are expected to give a poster or oral contribution. Decision on the list of participants, the nature of the presentation (oral or poster) and the level of funding for each participant will be made in March 2019.
We can offer a limited amount of financial support to cover some of the cost for the air ticket to participants without sufficient means to otherwise attend. If you wish to apply for partial air ticket cover, please select this on the application. We cannot guarantee this support at this point.
