The Center for Theoretical Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is seeking applications for a junior faculty appointment in all areas of its activities. Applications are invited for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Montclair State. Priority will be given to a researcher who can carry out experimental research in quantum information science/quantum computing. Other fields of experimental physics may also be considered, especially atomic, nuclear, or particle physics. The Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science (QuICS) is currently seeking outstanding quantum information researchers to join the Center faculty as QuICS Fellows. QuICS is a research partnership between the University of Maryland (UMD) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), with faculty from both institutions.
