The University of Vienna invites applications for a Postdoctoral position (University Assistant) to work in Professor Ivette Fuentes' group as part of Quantum Optics, Quantum Nanophysics and Quantum Information at the Faculty of Physics. The University of Vienna offers

Job Description:
We are searching for a researcher capable of producing high quality work in theoretical quantum physics, with a particular emphasis on the overlap of quantum information, quantum metrology and relativity.
The position involves the participation in research projects that aim at developing relativistic quantum technologies and finding answers to fundamental questions in the overlap of quantum theory and relativity. It is desirable that the candidate has some experience in bridging theory and experiment. He/she should be able to assist in grant applications, PhD supervision, teaching activities and support of students including examinations. Participation in administration, evaluation activities and in quality assurance.
Profile:
The candidates must have PhD and post-doctoral experience in either quantum physics and/or relativity at a university or comparable research institution. Knowledge in quantum field theory in curved spacetimes is desirable. They must also have good writing and oral communication skills and enjoy working with a variety of different people across discipline boundaries. Holding classes due to extent regulations of wage agreement.
