Three PhD studentships in Quantum Communications and Quantum Cryptography (York, UK)

The University of York was recently awarded one of four hubs in the EPSRC’s new £155m National Network of Quantum Technology Hubs. The York Quantum Hub will investigate Quantum Communications and Quantum Cryptography, and there are a number of studentships available within the Hub. Two studentships are supervised by Stefano Pirandola and Sam Braunstein, from the Department of Computer Science. A third studentship is related with the Studentship Network “White Rose Student Network in support of EPSRC Quantum Communications Technologies Hub” and will be jointly supervised by Stefano Pirandola and Roger Colbeck (Maths, York) and co-supervised by Moshen Razavi (Physics, Leeds).
All studentships are due to start from October 2015 and the deadline for applications is Friday 27 February 2015.
