Applicants are expected to have contributed to their research field
through remarkable research and to have the potential to bring the
research area to world-leading level. Also, applicants are strongly
committed to and capable of successfully conducting innovative research
and have the communication skills required for successful international
coworking.
KIAS Fellows are provided with annual salary in accordance with KIAS
regulations and covered by Korean national health insurance. Additional
benefits include individual research grants and benefit cards. The
initial appointment for the KIAS Fellow position is for five years, with
the possibility of a one time renewal of up to two additional years.
Applications must include (1) a curriculum vitae, (2) a list of
publications, (3) 5 letters of recommendation, (4) research statement
and additional materials that may help assess the candidate’s academic
capabilities.
