Welcome to Quantiki
Welcome to Quantiki, the world's leading portal for everyone involved in quantum information science. No matter if you are a researcher, a student or an enthusiast of quantum theory, this is the place you are going to find useful and enjoyable! While here on Quantiki you can: browse our content, including fascinating and educative articles, then create your own account and log in to gain more editorial possibilities.
Add new content, such as information about upcoming quantum events, open positions for quantum scientists and existing quantum research groups. We are also distributing news via X (Twitter) feed, Bluesky news feed, and LinkedIn profile. We encourage you to follow us on social media to get the recent news from quantum infromation community.
Dates:
Monday, August 29, 2022 to Friday, September 2, 2022
The goal is to bring together young and experienced quantum researchers to promote the sharing of knowledge and ideas within the community. For this purpose, we provide a platform for young researchers to learn new topics and improve presentation skills.

We're excited to announce the 2nd QProject! During this series, we will be listening to research projects by grad students and our new guest will be Shubham Kumar, from Shanghai University! With the title of "Entanglement in Quantum Memristors", his talk will conclude with a study of entangled quantum memristors based on superconducting circuits.
Work type: Full time
Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia
Categories: Post doctoral research fellow
Quantum communication is a translational technology that will make an impact on society long before quantum computation will. First commercial offerings of secure quantum communication solutions based on heavily attenuated laser pulses are already on the market. In this project, we plan to design a compact quantum communication system that could be deployed onboard a low-Earth-orbit satellite. The security of all communicated data will be at the forefront of the new design. The project will be largely theoretical in nature.

We are offering multiple PhD positions to well-qualified, highly motivated, and dynamic young scientists who wish to enhance their scientific career in a stimulating environment. The successful candidates will be joining the group led by Christian Schilling which is part of the Chair of Theoretical Physics -- Quantum Matter together with Ulrich Schollwöck, Lode Pollet and Fabian Grusdt. The research of our group is concerned with the interface of Quantum Information Theory and Quantum Many-Body Physics.
