The goal is to bring together young and experienced quantum researchers to promote the sharing of knowledge and ideas within the community. For this purpose, we provide a platform for young researchers to learn new topics and improve presentation skills.

QTech project #2

We're excited to announce the 2nd QProject! During this series, we will be listening to research projects by grad students and our new guest will be Shubham Kumar, from Shanghai University! With the title of "Entanglement in Quantum Memristors", his talk will conclude with a study of entangled quantum memristors based on superconducting circuits.

Application deadline:

Work type: Full time
Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia
Categories: Post doctoral research fellow

Quantum communication is a translational technology that will make an impact on society long before quantum computation will. First commercial offerings of secure quantum communication solutions based on heavily attenuated laser pulses are already on the market. In this project, we plan to design a compact quantum communication system that could be deployed onboard a low-Earth-orbit satellite. The security of all communicated data will be at the forefront of the new design. The project will be largely theoretical in nature.
