Description
Nu Quantum is looking to fund a 3-6 month long internship starting during summer 2021. The internships are full-time, paid, and based in Cambridge where possible.
Ideal candidates are either well into their PhDs, or recently finished. The projects will be carried out at the Nu Quantum headquarters and optics lab in Cambridge, collaboratively with the team which is now 15-strong.
Position open for a 2-year postdoc in the new group “Quantum Dynamics and Control” lead by Aurelia Chenu at the University of Luxembourg, with starting date October 1st, 2021.

An opening for a postdoctoral fellow to work at the QuSys Group at Trinity College Dublin has become available. There is some flexibility in the precise starting date but we would like to fill the position by October 2021 if possible. The position is for an initial period of 3 years (2+1) with some possibility of extending for another year. The position is funded under the EPRSC-SFI collaborative grant “Quamness” between the groups of Prof. Mauro Paternostro (Queens University Belfast) and Prof. Stephen Clark (Bristol).

We are looking for for a postdoctoral researcher (2 years) with a background in quantum optics or strong field physics and a strong interest in interdisciplinary research. The key aim of the project “Strong field physics with nonclassical light fields” is to investigate the interaction of strong, nonclassical light fields with matter. The successful applicant is expected to apply and develop numerical and analytical methods of theoretical quantum optics to describe light-matter interactions with large photon numbers.
