-= Announcement :: 2020 International Workshop on Quantum Resource Estimation =-
Considering the extraordinary global situation:
* April 7, 2020 is the new submission deadline;
* Submissions will be accepted and assessed according to the schedule;
* Full versions of the accepted papers will still be selected for recommendation to IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering;
* Participants and invited speakers will be allowed to postpone the presentation to next year's edition of the workshop - contingent on the schedule.

As first quantum computers have become a reality, new programming languages have been created in order to use them leading to new quantum algorithms, which yield promising results. Quantum Computing is becoming a mature area while an investment scalation is happening in public and private sectors. Thus, the quantum supremacy is expected for the next few years, allowing quantum computers to able to solve problems that classical computer practically cannot.

A special issue of Applied Sciences (ISSN 2076-3417). This special issue belongs to the section "Quantum Science and Technology".

Deadline for manuscript submissions: 31 May 2021.

Dear Colleagues,

Dates:

Tuesday, September 7, 2021 to Friday, September 10, 2021

The first Vienna Quantum Foundations Conference is organized by the Institute of Quantum Optics and Quantum Information-Vienna (Austrian Academy of Sciences). Continuing a long tradition of quantum physics in Vienna, the conference brings together leading international researchers in this field to discuss and shape the future of quantum foundations.

Application deadline:

Thursday, December 31, 2020

(1) The theoretical quantum optics and ultracold atoms group led by Hsiang-Hua Jen is hiring one or two postdoctoral researchers to investigate subjects of light-matter interactions of quantum interfaces. The group is based at Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences of Academia Sinica (inside National Taiwan Univ.) at Teipei, Taiwan.

(2) The main task of the postdoc involves studies of collective effect in EIT, spin excitations of NV centers, cooperative emissions, or GP equation simulations of spinor BEC.

Application deadline:

Friday, July 31, 2020

The Quantum Nonlocality, Foundations and Information group led by Yeong-Cherng Liang is hiring two postdoctoral researchers to work on topics pertinent to quantum resources (entanglement, Bell nonlocality, etc). The group is based at the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) at Tainan, Taiwan but maintains active international collaborations with prominent researchers from various institutions.

Application deadline:
