We have an opening for a research scientist to work on developing novel quantum devices, experiments, and methods for applications in open quantum system dynamics, quantum information, and quantum emulation/simulation. You will work with the quantum device design team to envision, create, build and test the next generation of quantum hardware to enable DOE science and technology missions. We have an opening for a Postdoctoral Research Staff Member in the field of high performance computing (HPC) simulation of open quantum system dynamics, quantum information and quantum emulation. You will apply your background and knowledge in HPC, numerical simulation of quantum systems and interest in working with experimental teams to realize platforms for quantum emulation. This position is in the Quantum Coherent Device Physics group, Condensed Matter Section, of the Physics Division.

The theory groups at the Institute for Quantum Information of the Jülich-Aachen Reasearch Alliance (JARA) are looking for highly motivated candidates to fill multiple PhD positions over the next few months (a DFG-funded position could start as soon as possible).
