PhD/postdoc positions at the Institute for Quantum Information, Aachen, Germany
Applications are invited for PhD and postdoctoral positions at the
Institute for Quantum Information at RWTH Aachen University in the group
of Norbert Schuch. The research focus of the group is at the boundary
between quantum information theory and quantum many-body physics, in
particular the application of quantum information tools such as tensor
network states to the analytical and numerical study of many-body systems,
topological order, and quantum phases, as well as the study of quantum
complexity aspects of many-body systems. However, outstanding applicants
with other research interests will also be considered.
Applicants should send their CV (including publications and contact data
of potential referees) to Norbert Schuch <schuch@physik.rwth-aachen.de>.
Applications will be considered from now on until the positions are
filled. Postdoc appointments will be initially for a 2-year term.
