Position: Quantum Software Engineer, in the Centre for Quantum Engineering, Research and Education (CQuERE), TCG CREST, Kolkata.
Salary: Rs. 60000/- per month.
Duration: 2 years.
Mode: online/ hybrid (in-person+online), depending on the covid situation.
Eligibility: BE/BTech (preferably Engineering Physics or Computer Science, but interested candidates from other branches of engineering can also apply)/MSc (preferably Physics, Chemistry, or Computer Science, but interested candidates from other branches can also apply).
Job description: would mostly involve programming in Python for quantum computing applications using state-of-the-art algorithms.
Requirement: excellent knowledge of python with strong inclination to programming. Coding experience will be given additional weightage. Knowledge of a quantum computing SDK, for example Qiskit, too shall be given additional weightage.
