The Photonic Quantum Information Processing (PQuIP) team at NRC is looking for postdoctoral candidates with interest in this area. We pursue exciting ideas in development and applications of light-matter interfaces in photonic quantum information processing. The candidate will explore theoretical approaches in quantum optics in enhancing generation of quantum error-correcting states and will study the impact of various components in scalability of quantum computing tasks. Any prior research background in these areas is considered an asset. NRC offers competitive salary and benefits and the candidate will interact with an excellent group of talented students and postdocs.
