Role Overview As an R&D Network Engineer, you will contribute to
the design and implementation of entanglement-based quantum
communication protocols and network functionalities. You will work
within an interdisciplinary team to develop and deploy next-generation
quantum networking solutions within the Quantum Internet testbed @
Federico II.
Required Qualifications • MSc in Telecommunications Engineering,
Computer Engineering, or a related field • Experience in one or more of
the following domains: • Data vs Control plan in TCP/IP Protocol Stack •
Software Defined Networking • Network architectures, management, and
control Preferred Skills: • Programming proficiency in Python/C++ •
Experience with network simulators (e.g., NS-3, NS-2, OMNeT++) • Basic
knowledge of Quantum Communication Networks
For senior (PostDoc) positions, a PhD in a relevant field is
required
