We are looking for a postdoc or staff scientist to join our Rydberg atom + optical nanofibre team (https://www.oist.jp/research/research-units/light) at OIST Graduate University, Okinawa, Japan. For those with significant experience post PhD (>5 years), the appointment may be at staff scientist level (fixed duration). Essential qualifications are a PhD in experimental cold atom physics, with a good publication record, and fluency in written/spoken English.

We seek a Postdoctoral Associate in Physics to lead a new startup project in the NYU’s Center for Quantum Phenomenon. The individual will lead the technology development and commercialization for a new quantum memory device originally developed in a Navy Research Lab. The goal of the project is to design a commercial version of the memory device that can store the states in a quantum computing circuit during the computation process.
