The position will be in the group of Prof. Robert Raußendorf and
under the leadership of Martin Plávala. You will be working on using
machine learning to construct verifiable witnesses of entanglement and
quantum nonlocality. The goal of the project is to construct such
witnesses in high-dimensional cases where other methods fail due to a
lack of computational resources. The applications will include
witnessing entanglement of quantum states, witnessing high-dimensional
steering, and witnessing nonlocality in Bell scenarios and quantum
networks.
For our group at the University of Siegen (Germany) we are looking for a motivated postdoc in the field of quantum information theory, foundations of quantum theory, and quantum optics. The group is led by five PIs (Otfried Gühne, Matthias Kleinmann, Chau Nguyen, Stefan Nimmrichter and Ramona Wolf) and the research topics include:

The aim of the role is to realise functional quantum memories using
the electronic and nuclear spins of tin-vacancy (SnV) colour centres in
nanofabricated diamond chips, using quantum optical control from single
confined spins using both optical and microwave fields. The research
topics will include the realisation of efficient photon emission,
high-fidelity coherent spin control using optical and microwave control,
demonstration of spin-photon quantum entanglement, and quantum
information transfer and storage in nuclear spin registers.
Three PhD positions are available on the topic of quantum network
applications and quantum network systems in the group of
Prof. Dr. Stephanie Wehner at Delft University of Technology (QuTech and
Quantum Computer Science)
Postdoc positions are available in the group of Prof. Dr. Stephanie
Wehner at Delft University of Technology (QuTech and Quantum Computer
Science) in the domains of Quantum Network Systems and Quantum Network
Application.
