We are looking for a motivated postdoctoral researcher with a PhD Degree in Physics (or a related field) to join the Quantum Information and Matter Group headed by Prof. Peter P. Orth at Saarland University. This is a broad search and potential research directions include quantum algorithms for the simulation of many-body systems and their implementations on current hardware, nonequilibrium dynamics and nonlinear response of correlated quantum matter and light-control of quantum materials. The research entails both analytical and numerical work. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English or German and will be able to communicate to a wide variety of audiences. The individual must be able to work effectively with team members.
