We are looking for a postdoctoral research associate in the theory of open nanoscale quantum systems and molecular quantum optics. The position is for two years, with the possibility of extension towards a habilitation.

If you are enthusiastic about the general direction of our research topics, have just finished your PhD or are about to finish it and are interested in joining our team, please write with the usual documents to Klaus Hornberger (klaus.hornberger@uni-due.de).

We are hiring an experimental research assistant within the Quantum Light and Matter group at Durham, working on quantum sensing with ultracold molecules in optical tweezer arrays. This position is funded by the “UK-Canada quantum for science research collaborations” scheme and there will be opportunities to travel to Canada as part of a researcher exchange program with the University of Waterloo.

International applicants are encouraged to apply and will be eligible for the Durham University Visa Reimbursement Scheme.

This is a research role on theoretical aspects of quantum computing, with opportunities to design cutting-edge demonstrations on Quantinuum devices.
