The Interdisciplinary Centre for Computer Music Research (ICCMR) at the University of Plymouth, UK, is seeking to recruit a Research Assistant with expertise in software development and quantum computing, and familiarity with the field of computer music, to work on the “Quantum Computing and Music” project.
The objective of the project is to initiate the development of an open source (GitHub based) programming toolbox designed for sound and music with quantum computing, accompanied with tutorials and demonstrations.
Two postdoctoral positions in theoretical quantum information science are available in the group of Prof. Huangjun Zhu in Department of Physics, Fudan University. The positions are expected to start later this year with some flexibility and last for one to three years. Successful applicants will receive competitive salary, sufficient travel funding, and other benefits from the university.
A postdoctoral research position is available to work at the Center for Quantum Information at Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). The successful candidate will work on theoretical studies of quantum information science towards near-term quantum processors and quantum communication networks (Research topic: Quantum Error mitigation, Quantum Error Correction, Quantum Control, Quantum Algorithm, Quantum Network etc.) and will intensively collaborate with our experimental group (http://quantum.kist.re.kr/).
We have opening for two theoretical postdoc positions (initially for two years with possible extensions) in the subject of quantum simulation in noisy intermediate scale quantum (NISQ) simulators. The applicants will join the group of Professor Abolfazl Bayat at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in Chengdu, China.
