A PhD position on the modeling two qubit gates on silicon is open at the Institute for Nanosciences and Cryogenics (INAC) of the CEA, Grenoble, France. The PhD is expected to start late summer/autumn 2019 and lasts three years.

This internship project could bring together two teams of CPT and LIS, to explore at the frontier between quantum information and theoretical physics, the basic mechanisms relating network complexity, quantum states and dynamics. We will investigate interacting many-body quantum walks and automata on dynamical graphs, and use their entanglement evolution and other information tools to link topological and information processing properties.

The AQIS’19 conference will focus on quantum information processing, communication and cryptography, an interdisciplinary field bridging quantum physics, computer science, mathematics, and information technologies. AQIS’19 will be a natural successor of EQIS’01-EQIS’05 and AQIS’06-AQIS’18. AQIS’19 will consist of tutorials, invited talks, selected oral and poster presentations, as well as other activities. Contributions are solicited in (but not limited to) the following areas:

We are opening a one-year postdoc position in the area of theoretical quantum information theory. The postdoc is expected to work in close collaboration with core members of RCQI on topics of their common interests. Basic salary is 1400 eur / month, however, additional funds, depending on the focus and performance, are expected.
