Welcome to Quantiki
Welcome to Quantiki, the world's leading portal for everyone involved in quantum information science. No matter if you are a researcher, a student or an enthusiast of quantum theory, this is the place you are going to find useful and enjoyable! While here on Quantiki you can: browse our content, including fascinating and educative articles, then create your own account and log in to gain more editorial possibilities.
Add new content, such as information about upcoming quantum events, open positions for quantum scientists and existing quantum research groups. We are also distributing news via X (Twitter) feed, Bluesky news feed, and LinkedIn profile. We encourage you to follow us on social media to get the recent news from quantum infromation community.
The School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh invites applications for two research assistant position for two years funded by EPSRC to work on the Benchmarking Quantum Advantage at the recently created Quantum Software Lab, the largest quantum computer science group in the UK. We are looking for an excellent and motivated candidate with background in quantum computation, theoretical computer science or applied mathematics. The project is lead by Dr. Raul Garcia-Patron in collaboration with Dr. Hen Guo, Reader in Algorithms and Complexity, and Dr.
Paderborn University is a high-performance and internationally oriented university with approximately 18,000 students. Within interdisciplinary teams, we undertake forward- looking research, design innovative teaching concepts and actively transfer knowledge into society. As an important research and cooperation partner, the university also shapes regional development strategies. We offer our more than 2,600 employees in re- search, teaching, technology and administration a lively, family-friendly, equal oppor- tunity environment, a lean management structure and diverse opportunities.

Wigner negativity is one of the necessary resources for quantum computation with continuous variables. In recent years, this motivated our group to produce a series of works on the measurement-based creation of Wigner-negative states. However, there are a multitude of other important properties that a quantum state can have, such as a high stellar rank, non-linear squeezing, and non-Gaussian entanglement. The aim of the post-doc project is to design new protocols to generate quantum states with non-Gaussian entanglement.

Description
The Kestner Group in the Department of Physics at UMBC invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to carry out theoretical investigations of silicon spin qubits under the mentorship of Dr. Jason Kestner. The postdoctoral researcher will join a team of theoretical and experimental collaborators at UMBC, UCLA, the University of Rochester, Virginia Tech, and Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Labs, funded by the LPS/ARO grant “Measuring, Modeling, and Mitigating Noise in Spin Qubits.”
The German Aerospace Center (DLR) is the national aeronautics and space research centre and the space agency of the Federal Republic of Germany. Here, 10,000 employees work together on a unique variety of topics in the fields of aeronautics, space, energy, transport, security and digitalisation. Their missions range from basic research to the development of innovative applications and products for tomorrow. Cutting-edge research requires excellent minds – particularly more females – at all levels, who fully achieve their potential in an inspiring environment.
