<p>Blas is currently a Research Profesor at Tecnológico de Monterrey and an Associate Researcher at Mexico's Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica, Óptica y Electrónica. He earned his Ph. D. and M. Sc. in Optics from INAOE, M. Sc. in Quantum Physics from KTH, and B. Eng. in Physics Engineering from ITESM. He has conducted postdoctoral research under the supervision of Prof. Vladimir Buzek at RCQI, Prof. Rocío Jauregui at IF-UNAM, Prof. Ray-Kuang Lee at NTHU, Prof. Dimitris Angelakis at CQT, and Prof. Marcelo P. E. Franca Santos at UFMG. He now leads a research group focused on the <a href="https://goo.gl/Au4zLS"> Design of Hybrid Technologies</a> with members in both Tecnológico de Monterrey and Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica, Óptica y Electrónica. </br> </p>
