Chih Wei (Chi) Lai is the experimental director of the Quantum 'Moonshot' Program within the MITRE Corp.
Chi launched MITRE's experimental efforts in 'moonshot' Quantum Information Science. MITRE's QIS moonshot program aims to demonstrate a mini-cloud of a quantum communications network of photonic computers. The team will nnvent, design, and build a novel system to generate entangled photons as quantum bits for applications in three domains of quantum information science: communication, sensing, and computation.
