The Light-Matter Interactions Unit (groups.oist.jp/light) in OIST, headed by Prof Síle Nic Chormaic, invites applications for a postdoc on quantum dot integration with structured optical nanofibers for cavity QED measurements. The successful candidate will work within the Neutral Atoms for Quantum Technologies Group. Only candidates with research vision and exemplary publication records will be considered. The successful candidate must have experience in nano waveguides, optical nanofibers, ideally with quantum dot manipulation skills.

The successful candidates will need to contribute to one of our strands of research within the Neutral Atoms for Quantum Technologies Group on optical nanofiber integration into laser-cooled ground state and Rydberg atomic systems.
