The Physics department at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, is looking to employ a full time Post Doctoral Fellow in theoretical condensed matter physics for a fixed term two year position with a possibility for extension. The focus of the research will be in topological states of matter, systems out of equilibrium, open systems, and light-matter interaction.

We are looking for a postdoc with experience in experimental quantum and/or nonlinear optics. Possible projects are:

- Quantum metrology with nonlinear interferometry
- Generation of photon triplets through a direct cubic nonlinear process
- Physics at the boundary of quantum and nonlinear optics: nonlinear effects pumped with quantum states of light, extreme events, interaction of light with matter.

Deep Quantum Labs is in the ongoing process of a expansion planned over the next several years as we continue to establish resident based international leadership in several core areas of theory related to quantum computation, tensor networks, Hamiltonian complexity and quantum machine learning.
