For a joint Mitacs-sponsored research project between IonQ Canada and
the University of Toronto, we are looking for postdoctoral fellows with
demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: quantum
computing, distributed computing, quantum algorithms, and/or quantum
simulations. The project will involve the development of quantum
algorithms for distributed quantum computers and the development of
methods to simulate these algorithms.

We are now accepting applications for the Quantum Center Research
Fellowship Programme. These fellowships provide funding for PhD students
and postdocs hosted by research groups of the Quantum Center at ETH
Zürich.
The fellowships support innovative and original scientific research
that aligns with the host group while fostering the fellow’s
independence. In addition, fellows will help further strengthen the
community of PhD students and postdocs at the Quantum Center, for
example by organizing technical exchange events or social
activities.

What
We offer two postdoctoral research positions in quantum information theory. Depending on seniority, the hire can be at the level of staff scientist. Potential research topics include the following:
- Quantum communications and quantum networking theory.
- Quantum cryptography.
- Quantum error correction, in particular in connection with modular quantum computation.
The compensation is in accordance with the OIST Employee Compensation Regulations and depends on the time since graduation.

We invite applications for a Research Fellow position in the general
area of Theoretical Quantum Information.
You will be part of a team working on projects in quantum
measurements and the characterisation of quantum devices. You will join
the research group of A/Prof Alexei Gilchrist (6 PhD Students) and
collaborate closely with Prof. Kavan Modi (Monash University). The
position is jointly funded by the ARC Centre of Excellence in Engineered
Quantum Systems and an ARC Discovery Project on quantum measurement
resource theories.

Topic: Exploiting High-Dimensional Entanglement for Quantum Networking (P5)
In the Quantum Communication Systems group led by Dr. Tobias Heindel, this project aims at the exploitation of high-dimensional entanglement from solid-state quantum light sources for applications in quantum networking. You will work on quantum optics in the solid-state using semiconductor quantum dot devices and the implementation of suitable quantum communication protocols.
I am recruiting one PostDoc in my group at Inria Saclay, Ecole Polytechnique near Paris. PhD and master thesis candidates are also welcome to apply. As part of a new dynamic INRIA Team located in Saclay, you will have the possibility to collaborate with other quantum information researchers in Paris area and abroad.
