The Physics of Information and Quantum Technologies Group, at Instituto de Telecomunicacoes (in Lisbon, Portugal), is seeking to hire two Post-doctoral Research Fellows.

The candidates are expected to have research experience in quantum information theory and/or quantum matter.

This is a fellowship scheme funded by Aberystwyth University, the Welsh Government and the European Union. It is aimed at researchers with 3-5 years post-PhD experience and comes with a 3 year appointment. To be eligible, you have to have spent no more than 12 months in the UK over the last three years (0 months is fine!), and applications can be from anywhere in the world. At the moment, I am collecting expressions of interest only; there is a two-stage proposal involved in this but chances are quite good (last year's applicant was successful) .

Associate-III under the project “Non local correlations in nanoscale systems: Role of
decoherence, interactions, disorder and pairing symmetry” in the School of Physical
Sciences, NISER funded by SERB, Govt. of India.

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE -III:

QUALIFICATION: Candidate should have PhD or equivalent degree in Physics (preferably in theory).
