The Europe-funded NEASQC project is investigating a wide selection of NISQ-compatible real-world use-cases, related to chemistry, machine learning and optimisation, and symbolic AI and graph algorithmics. Our academic and industrial partners team together to develop new quantum software techniques to solve those use-cases with a practical quantum advantage. To select the best approaches, we engage regularly with other Quantum Computing enthusiasts.

School of Applied Mathematics of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Moscow, Russia, invites applications for a postdoc position in Mathematical methods for quantum information and quantum control technologies, see the description and requirements at https://iri.hse.ru/ru/PD2223_MathematicalMethods.

QTech: Projects #1 organized by QTurkey

QTurkey is excited to announce the launch of our new event, QTech: Projects! During this series, we will be listening to several research projects by graduate students working in the field of quantum technology.

Our first guest will be Lea Gassab from QuEst Group at Koç University! In this talk, she will present one of the current projects of their research group, where they study squeezed and entangled light. Her talk will conclude with plausible applications such as quantum pupillometry and biometrics in emerging technology.

Application deadline:

Sunday, January 30, 2022

We seek for highly motivated, skilled, and independent graduate students that wish to develop their scientific career in a stimulating environment. This doctoral degree project will be carried out in the quantum photonics group led by Ana Predojevic (http://qphotonics.fysik.su.se). The successful candidate should have interest in quantum technologies, specifically quantum information and communication.

The Quantum Engineering Science and Technology (QUEST) group at UMass Lowell, MA and the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) at Boulder, CO are looking for a motivated postdoctoral researcher to start as soon as possible. The primary focus of the research will be multi-qubit reservoir engineering, readout and control. This postdoctoral research opportunity will involve developing designs, characterization and measurement protocols for novel parametric circuit-QED architectures.

Application deadline:

Thursday, March 10, 2022

ICFO is offering several postdoctoral positions to well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young scientists who wish to enhance their scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.

UMass Lowell invites applications for several postdoctoral positions in theory and phenomenology of quantum information processing. These positions are for a minimum of two years with several possibilities of extensions, and come with competitive salary and benefits. Selected candidate is expected to join in spring–summer 2022, though some flexibility in start date maybe accommodated.
