We invite you to submit contributed talks to the 3rd Annual
Conference on Quantum Simulation (QSim 2025) which will be held in New
York City, August 4-8, 2025. Building on the success of QSim 2023 in
Telluride and QSim 2024 in Rhode Island, QSim 2025 will bring together
physicists, engineers, and computer scientists working at the forefront
of theory, numerics and experiments for quantum simulation.
The Quantum for Life Center is looking for a PhD student interested
in taking part in the development for quantum algorithms for quantum
chemical systems. The PhD student would be employed at the Department of
Mathematics at the University of Copenhagen supervised by Professor
Matthias Christandl with co-supervision by Professor Markus Reiher from
ETH Zurich in Switzerland. The project would involve the development of
new quantum algorithms as well as the theoretical and numerical analysis
on concrete example molecules.

We are looking for a motivated postdoctoral researcher with a PhD
Degree in Physics (or a related field) to join the Quantum
Information and Matter Group headed by Prof. Peter P. Orth at Saarland
University. This is a broad search and potential research
directions include quantum algorithms for the simulation of many-body
systems and their implementations on current hardware, nonequilibrium
dynamics and nonlinear response of correlated quantum matter and
light-control of quantum materials. The research entails both analytical
and numerical work. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal
and written communication skills in English or German and will be able
to communicate to a wide variety of audiences. The individual must be
able to work effectively with team members.
Widely internationalized and committed to excellence in research,
education, and innovation, École polytechnique is seeking a full-time
Assistant Professor or Professor in Quantum Physics. As part of the
Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris), École polytechnique offers a
vibrant academic environment where interdisciplinary collaboration
thrives. The successful candidate will join the Physics Department and
contribute to IP Paris’s strategic initiative to expand its expertise in
quantum sciences and technologies, with a strong connection to the
Quantum Saclay Center, a collaborative platform with Université Paris
Saclay.
École polytechnique, a prestigious institution within the Institut
Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris), is seeking a full-time Assistant
Professor in Condensed Matter Physics. The successful candidate will
join the Interdisciplinary Center “Materials for Society” (M4S) within
the Physics Department. As part of IP Paris, École polytechnique
combines top-tier research, education, and innovation, offering a
dynamic and international academic environment. The M4S Center unites
researchers across physics, chemistry, mechanics, and applied
mathematics, focusing on cutting-edge interdisciplinary research in
materials science.

Friday, June 6, 2025 to Tuesday, June 10, 2025
PenteQost-25 is the second edition of the
interdisciplinary and international undergraduate spring
school on the Fundamentals of Quantum Science.
Building on the success of the inaugural event, the school will once
again be hosted by the University of Siegen, taking
place from Friday afternoon, June 6, to Tuesday noon, June 10,
2025. Timed to align with the Pentecost
weekend, the program minimizes conflicts with regular semester
schedules.
The QuantumInternet.it research group at the University of Naples
Federico II is seeking highly motivated candidates for multiple
positions within the ERC Consolidator Grant project QNattyNet lead by
Prof. Angela Sara Cacciapuoti. We are hiring at both Junior (MSc, PhD)
and Senior (Postdoc) levels.
The Mathematical Institute of SAS offers a postdoc position for
research in quantum information theory. The successful candidate will
join a research project under supervision of Anna Jenčová
http://www.mat.savba.sk/~jencova/index.html, focused on properties of
quantum channels and higher order maps. The research is conducted in
collaboration with the Quantum information foundations group at the
Research Center for Quantum Information, http://www.quantum.physics.sk/
at the Institute of Physics of SAS.
